Tadasana…ahhhhhhh. I thoroughly enjoy saying this word, silent self talk or aloud instruction, it makes me grin. The ahhhhhh part feels so good all over my body, each joint and muscle in my back, my lungs, brain, and heart thank me by providing me with optimal health. I try to begin each day practicing this pose while mindfully taking 5 deep breaths. I like to practice the 5-2-7 method of deep breathing, 5 counts inhale, 2 counts hold, 7 counts exhale. Focused positive energy to start each day helps to improve stress management and overall feeling of wellness. This simple practice has been noted to improve blood pressure as well. It’s a pretty easy peasy awesome habit to incorporate into your life too!
